Hello ,

In the midst of all the news surrounding COVID-19, we wanted to send you some positive news regarding what is happening across REEP properties, and our how our response to the coronavirus and its impact has elevated REEP during the recent months.

COVID-19: REEP Remains Open, Drives Occupancy
Since early March, we realized many of our properties' comps were completely closed, or had very little offerings for prospects. While REEP properties safely remained opened, we were able to capture those pieces of traffic and successfully convert them into leases. Occupancy across the REEP portfolio has increased 2 percentage points during COVID-19. Safe measures such as desk guards like the one shown in the video to the left were taken to protect both our hardworking staff and residents while remaining open for business.
LIVE on the Air brings in New Tenants
Even before COVID-19, a REEP property had negotiated a deal with FM 98.9 KLMO, a local Tejano Radio station. Each week, our Community Director and her Assistant Manager have given information on property specials, as well as specials across the REEP Portfolio. Along with broadcasting it live, the radio station KLMO goes Facebook Live during the broadcasts this week. Not only has this brought in new leases, it is a deal our Community Director negotiated over $1,200 in new advertising at no cost to the property. Having this source of advertising, both on air and online, has proved beneficial to this property during COVID-19 and has boosted this REEP property's brand at no cost.
REEP Cares
Earlier last week, the REEP Management and REEP Equity Teams filled over 1,500 bags with masks and treats for our residents. Being vertically integrated allows us to show our sincere care for our residents and be able to quickly adapt to our residents' needs. This was a small token of our appreciation to our residents, and our on-site teams enjoyed delivering them to residents the past few days.
"When an Assistant Manager on property mentioned that REEP residents were paying for their rent but unsure if they would have money for groceries to feed their families, it touched Jacob's and my heart. We knew we had to personally do something," said Arleen Garza. At no cost to the property, the REEP corporate team bagged and delivered groceries to one of the eight properties in our portfolio. We'll continue these efforts as needed during COVID-19.
