Hello ,

The humidity and increased temperatures have officially arrived in San Antonio, and we are certainly preparing for a warm summer. Typically, the summer months of May- August experience an increase in leasing activity as people and families move. Our REEP wide portfolio occupancy is well poised for a great leasing season as our teams' hard work and dedication have began to come to fruition. Collections, renewals, and leasing activity continues to remain strong during Covid-19 as we closely monitor these KPI's and reaffirm these real estate investments continue to persevere through unprecendented times.

REEP Equity Roadshows Rescheduled
We had great plans for continuing our REEP Equity Roadshows in Q1 and Q2 of 2020. Unfortunately, we felt it prudent to cancel all previously scheduled events. We are looking ahead to restarting our Roadshow events again in the fall.
Save the date for our REEP Investor Bus Tour on Saturday, November 7th, as we'll tour some of our properties in San Antonio, just in time for the rescheduled date for Fiesta in San Antonio! Registration for current REEP investors, their guests, and the general public will be made available as details are solidified. Stay tuned to your emails and the REEP Equity Facebook and LinkedIn pages for updates.
Portfolio Spotlight: Knoll Crest
Knoll Crest Apartments, our 264-unit property in the northwest submarket of San Antonio, recently experienced a heavy downpour of rain, causing one of the retaining walls adjacent to the parking lot to begin collapsing.
Our in-house construction team was able to quickly replace this retaining wall within 3 days, with total expenses of $1,812. Outsourcing this project would have cost roughly $7,000 and taken easily over a week to complete. Not only does this increase the property's curb appeal, residents enjoy peace of mind knowing their cars will not be damaged.
Continually Connected with REEP
Last month, Jacob and Arleen sat down with Quest Trust Company to discuss the benefits of using your self-directed IRA to invest in multifamily real estate. You can find the recording of the webinar here, and please reach out to invest@reepequity.com with any questions.
Also, listen to Jacob talk with SEC attorney Mauricio Rauld in Episode 9 of the Passive Wealth through Multifamily Investing Podcast hosted by REEP Equity. Together they discuss SEC Rules, Regulations, and what Passive Investors should avoid in a syndicator.  You can listen to it here or through your favorite podcast listening app.

If you want to hear something specific on our next podcast episode, please send suggestions or topics you'd like to learn more about to invest@reepequity.com.
